Manusath Derana’s Maliban Senehase Ape Aurudu program was celebrated with the children of Kokilai on 5th April 2025. This program was organized in collaboration with the 59th Infantry Division of the Sri Lanka Army. The event, held at Mullaitivu Kokilai Beach, celebrated Sinhala and Hindu New Year with 60 Tamil-speaking children and 50 Sinhala-speaking children between the ages of 12 and 18 years. The children enjoyed traditional games, cultural performances, and a delicious meal together. This event exemplified the spirit of unity and inclusivity that is essential for building a peaceful and prosperous society. Invitees and the villagers also commended the program for fostering social harmony through engaging activities and cultural exchanges.
මනුසත් දෙරණ මැලිබන් සෙනෙහසේ අපේ අවුරුදු වැඩසටහන 2025 අප්‍රේල් මස 05 වන දින කෝකිලායි දරු දැරියන් සමඟ පවත්වනු ලැබීය. මුලතිව් කෝකිලායි වෙරළ තීරයේ පැවති මෙම උත්සවයේදී වයස අවුරුදු 12 ත් 18 ත් අතර දෙමළ බස කතා කරන ළමුන් 60 දෙනෙකු සහ සිංහල බස කතා කරන ළමුන් 50 දෙනෙකු සමඟ සිංහල හා හින්දු අලුත් අවුරුද්ද සමරනු ලැබීය. ශ්‍රී ලංකා යුද්ධ හමුදාවේ 59 වන පාබල සේනාංකය සමඟ එක්ව සංවිධානය කරන ලද මෙම වැටසටහනේ ආකර්ෂණීය ක්‍රියාකාරකම් සහ සංස්කෘතික හුවමාරුව තුළින් සමාජ සහජීවනය වර්ධනය වන බවත් මෙවන් වැඩසටහන් ඉතා පලදායි බවත් සැමගේ අදහස විය.
