The Manusath Derana 68th medical clinic, aimed at early detection of chronic kidney disease, was recently held at Galenbindunuwewa Dutuwewa Vidyalaya. This program was held in conjunction with World Kidney Day 2024. The 68th Manusath Derana medical clinic was a collaborative effort of Ragama Leesons Hospital, Cipla Pharma, and the Sri Lanka Eye Donation Society. At the clinic, tests for lung function, cholesterol, blood sugar, blood pressure, and BMI were conducted. Eye testing was also performed, and spectacles were provided to those in need. In addition to medical services, sports equipment was donated to nearby schools, and generators were given to three death donation societies in the area.

සියල්ලට ප්‍රථම මිනිස්කම පෙරදැරිව මනුසත් දෙරණ විසින් සිදුකරන වකුගඩු රෝගය මුලික අවස්ථාවේදීම හදුනාගැනීමේ 68 වන වෛද්‍ය සායනය ගලෙන්බිඳුනුවැව දුටුවැව විද්‍යාලයේදී පවත්වනු ලැබුවා. 2024 ලෝක වකුගඩු දින සැමරුමට සමගාමිව මෙම වැඩසටහන මෙවර පවත්වන ලදී.
රාගම ලීසන්ස් රෝහලේ අනුග්‍රයෙන් මනුසත් දෙරණ හා එක්ව සිප්ලා ආයතනය පෙනහළු, කොලේස්ටරෝල්, රුධිරගත සීනි ආදී පරීක්ෂණද, රුධිර පීඩනය, උසට සරිලන බර මැනීමද, ශ්‍රී ලංකා අක්ෂිදාන සංගමයේ සහභාගිත්වයෙන් ඇස් පරික්ෂාකොට නොමිලයේ කණ්නාඩි ලබාදීමද සිදු කෙරුණා. තවද ප්‍රදේශයේ පාසල් කිහිපයකටම ක්‍රීඩා උපකරණ ලබා දීම, ප්‍රදේශයේ මරණාධාර සමිති 3 කට විදුලි ජනක යන්ත්‍ර ලබාදීමද සිදු කෙරුණා.
