As part of the Senehase Ape Avurud Programme, Manusath Derana with Maliban brought the joy of the New Year to the helpless and lonely elders at the Raigam Korale Elders Home on 9th April 2025.

The visit brought warm smiles and a sense of belonging to the faces of the elders, reassuring them that they hold a special place in the hearts of others and are not overlooked or neglected.

This gesture serves as a poignant reminder for all of us to actively prioritize and demonstrate compassion and kindness towards the elderly members of our society, who deserve our respect and care.

විවිධ පසුබිම්වල ජනතාව එකට එක් කරන අලුත් අවුරුදු උත්සවය සාමකාමී හා සමෘද්ධිමත් සමාජයක් ගොඩනැගීම සඳහා අත්‍යාවශ්‍ය සමගිය සහ සියල්ලන් අහ නොහැර එක්ව සිටීමට කදිම උදාහරණයකි. සිංහල දමිල නව අවුරුදු කාලය පසුගිය වසරේ අත්දැකීම් සිහිපත් කිරීම, අනාගතයේ පෞද්ගලික හා සාමූහික වර්ධනය සඳහා අභිප්‍රායන් සැකසීම යන දෙකටම අවස්ථාවකි. නව වසර උදාව සමඟ ඇති වන නව බලාපොරොත්තු සහ අලුත් වීමේ හැඟීම පුද්ගලයන් සහ ප්‍රජාවන් තුල ධනාත්මක පරිවර්තනයන් ආරම්භ කිරීමට උත්ප්‍රේරකයකි.

මනුසත් දෙරණ මැලිබන් සෙනෙහසේ අපේ අවුරුදු වැඩසටහන 2025 අප්‍රේල් මස 09 වන දින රයිගම් කෝරලේ වැඩිහිටි නිවාසයේ වැඩිහිටි දෙමාපියන් වෙත අලුත් අවුරුදු ප්‍රීතිය රැගෙන නෑගම් අවේ ඔවුන් සතුටු කිරීමටය.

මෙම අවුරුදු නෑගම් ඔවුන්ගේ මුහුණුවලට උණුසුම් සිනහවක් සහ ආදරණීය හැඟීමක් ගෙන දුන් අතර, ඔවුන් අන් අයගේ හදවත් තුළ විශේෂ ස්ථානයක් දරන බවත් ඔවුන් නොසලකා හරින ලද අය නොවන බවත්, නොසලකා හරිනු නොලබන බවත් පසක් වූ බවක් පිළිබිඹු විය.

මෙම වැඩසටහන අපගේ ගෞරවය හා රැකවරණය ලැබිය යුතු අපගේ සමාජයේ වැඩිහිටි සාමාජිකයින් කෙරෙහි දයාව, අනුකම්පාව සහ කරුණාව සක්‍රියව ලබා දීමටත් එය ප්‍රවර්ධනය කිරීමටත් මාර්ගයක් වීම මනුසත් දෙරණ අපට මහත් සතුටකි.
