Since 2013, Manusath Derana has been running initiatives focused on detecting and preventing renal disease.

In observance of World Kidney Day 2025 and World Kidney Month, we conducted public education and prevention programs, and the 78th Manusath Derana health clinic took place at Galenbindunuwewa Upuldeniya Ulpathwewa Monastery. This included screenings, raising awareness on preventing diseases through diet and lifestyle, and providing advice by nephrology experts.

In addition to the program, expectant mothers are given baby equipment, spiritual books for Ulpathwewa Monastery, sports equipment for Upuldeniya School, and a water filter for Kusal Arana Monastery.

Support for the occasion was provided by The Sri Lanka Eye Donation Society, Bodu Saviya Organization, Cipla, Meldol, Omron, IIHS, Ragama Leesons Hospital, and health officials.

සියල්ලට ප්‍රථම මිනිස්කම පෙරදැරි කරගත් මනුසත් දෙරණ 2013 වසරේ සිටම වකුගඩු රෝගය මුලික අදියරේදී හඳුනාගෙන එය පැතිරීම වැලක්වීමට කටයුතු කරමින් සිටි. 2025 ලෝක වකුගඩු දිනය සහ ලෝක වකුගඩු මාසය නිමිත්තෙන් අප විසින් ජනතාව දැනුවත් කිරීම හා නිවාරණ වැඩසටහන් ක්‍රියාත්මක කළ අතර 78 වන මනුසත් දෙරණ සෞඛ්‍ය සායනය ගලෙන්බිඳුනුවැව උපුල්දෙණිය උල්පත්වැව ආරණ්‍ය සේනාසනයේදී පැවැත්විණි. වෛද්‍ය පරීක්ෂණ, ආහාර සහ ජීවන රටාව තුළින් රෝග වැළැක්වීම පිළිබඳ දැනුවත් කිරීම සහ වෘක්ක විශේෂඥයින්ගේ උපදෙස් මෙයට ඇතුළත් විය.
මෙම වැඩසටහනට සමගාමීව ගර්භනී මව්වරුන්ට ළදරු උපකරණ, උල්පත්වැව ආරාමය සඳහා අධ්‍යාත්මික පොත්පත්, උපුල්දෙණිය පාසල සඳහා ක්‍රීඩා උපකරණ සහ කුසල් අරණ ආරාමය සඳහා ජල පෙරණයක් ප්‍රදානය කරන ලදී. ශ්‍රී ලංකා අක්ෂිදාන සංගමය, අයි.අයි.එච්.එස්. බොදු සවිය සංවිධානය, සිප්ලා, මෙල්ඩෝල්, ඔම්රොන් යන ආයතන හා සන්නාම සේවා සපයන ලද අතර රාගම ලීසන්ස් රෝහල මුල්‍ය දායකත්වය සපයන ලදී.
