The “We are with You” a truly special event took place at the Ceylon School for the Deaf and Blind Ratmalana on 20th March 2024. It was a heartwarming occasion that left a lasting impression on everyone who attended.
Manusath Derana organized the event with The Electrical Engineering Society (EESOC) of the University of Moratuwa and Spar Sri Lanka.
The goal is to increase awareness and empathy towards individuals with special needs among university students and society. Additionally, it aimed at reminding the corporate sector and society of the assistance they can provide to children with special needs.
The students of both schools performed beautiful dances and songs, and the children and teachers were given presents by Manusath Derana.

සියල්ලට ප්‍රථම මිනිස්කම පෙරදැරිකරගත් “මනුසත් දෙරණ” මොරටුව විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයේ විදුලි ඉන්ජිනේරු අධ්‍යන අංශයේ “විදුලි ඉංජිනේරු සංගමය” හා ස්පාර් සුපිරි වෙළඳ සල් ජාලය හා එක්ව සිදු කල “We are with you” වැඩසටහන මාර්තු මස 20 වන දින රත්මලාන ලංකා බිහිරි සහ අන්ධ විද්‍යාලයේදී පවත්වනු ලැබුවා.
විශ්ව විද්‍යාල සිසුන් හා ජන සමාජය තුල විශේෂ අවශ්‍යතා ඇති දරුවන් හා පුද්ගලයින් පිලිබඳ අවබෝධය සංවේදීතාවය පුළුල් කිරීමටත්, එම දරුවන් වෙනුවෙන් ජනතාවට හා ආයතනයන්ට ලබා දිය හැකි සහයෝගය සිහිකැඳවීමටත් මෙවැනි වැඩසටහන් වැදගත් වන බව මනුසත් දෙරණ විශ්වාසයයි. මොරටුව විශ්ව විද්‍යාලයේ අදහසකට අනුව “ස්පාර් ශ්‍රී ලංකා” අනුග්‍රාහකත්වයද එක්කරගනිමින් “මනුසත් දෙරණ” සිදු කල මෙම වැඩසටහන විචිත්‍රවත් කරමින් අන්ධ විද්‍යාලයේ දරුවන් මනරම් වූ ගායනාද, බිහිරි විද්‍යාලයේ දරුවන් අතිශය අලංකාර නැටුම්ද ඉදිරිපත් කළා. මෙහිදී මෙම විද්‍යාලයන්හි දරුවනට අවශ්‍ය පාරිභෝගික භාණ්ඩද, දරුවනට හා ගුරුවරුනට ත්‍යාගද පිරිනමනු ලැබුවා.
