Sri Lanka Stem Cell Donor Registry – “Praana” at Ruwanwella

In search of the truly inspiring heroes who selflessly dedicate their lives to caring for those battling cancer, Manusath Derana recently went to “Methsith Arana”, located in Hathmattawattha Kannanthota in Ruwanwella.
The “Praana” program is a collaboration with the Sri Lanka College of Transfusion Physicians, Ministry of Health Sri Lanka, the National Blood Transfusion Service Sri Lanka, and Manusath Derena to increase awareness and recruit donors to be a lifesaving resource for patients in need of stem cell transplants, offering them a renewed hope and fostering a healthier future for all Sri Lankans.
අහිමි වන ජීවිත ජීවත් කරවන්නට එක්වන හදවතේ විරුවන් සොයා සියල්ලට ප්‍රථම මිනිස්කම පෙරදැරිකරගත් මනුසත් දෙරණ රුවන්වැල්ලේ කන්නන්තොට හත්මත්ත වත්තේ පිහිටි මෙත්සිත් අරණට වෙත පසුගියදා යනු ලැබුවා.“ප්‍රාණ ” වැඩසටහන ශ්‍රී ලංකා පාරවිලයන වෛද්‍ය විද්‍යාලය , ශ්‍රී ලංකා සෞඛ්‍ය අමාත්‍යාංශය , ශ්‍රී ලංකා ජාතික රුධිර පාරවිලයන සේවය සහ මනුසත් දෙරණ එක්ව රුධිර ජනක සෛල බද්ධ කිරීම් අවශ්‍ය රෝගීන් සඳහා ජීවිතාරක්ෂක සම්පතක් ලෙස පරිත්යාගශීලීන් ලියාපදිංචි කිරීම, දැනුවත් කිරීම සහ රෝගීන්ට නව බලාපොරොත්තුවක් ලබා දීමත් සහ සියලු ශ්‍රී ලාංකිකයිනට සෞඛ්‍ය සම්පන්න අනාගතයක් ඇති කිරීමත් අරමුණු කොට ගෙන සිදු කරයි.
