Nethmi Ahinsa, the Commonwealth Games bronze medalist, requested Mr. Dilith Jayaweewa, the Chairman of Derana Media Network, to support her school. Responding to her request, on May 3, 2023, Welpalla School of Giriulla Education Zone received a smart classroom under the Manusath Derana programme to uplift the educational standards of under-resourced schools. KS Environmental Group in Melbourne, Australia, provides financial assistance for this program. Mr. Paul Smith, Managing Director, and Mr. Susantha Aparakka, Chief Financial Officer of KS Environmental Group, pledged to provide six Smart classrooms for the schools lacking teachers and resources.
Teachers, parents, and students expressed gratitude for enabling access to constantly upgrading subject knowledge and global knowledge on par with resourced schools.
Manusath Derana expects to provide the services of highly skilled teachers to these schools via this technology.

ගුරුවරුන්, දෙමාපියන් සහ සිසුන්, සම්පත් සහිත පාසල් හා සමගාමීව විෂය දැනුම සහ ගෝලීය දැනුම නිරන්තරයෙන් වැඩිදියුණු කරගැනීමට ප්‍රවේශයයක් ලබා දීම පිළිබඳව සිය කෘතඥතාව පළ කළහ.
මනුසත් දෙරණ මෙම තාක්‍ෂණය හරහා මෙම පාසල්වලට ඉහළ කුසලතා ඇති ගුරුවරුන්ගේ සේවය සැපයීමටද අපේක්ෂා කරයි.
