The smart classroom given to St. Lucia’s College, Kotahena, by Manusath Derana and K. S. Environmental Group of Melbourne, Australia, was ceremonially opened on April 2, 2024.
KS Environmental Group provided the necessary financial assistance for this and several other smart classroom projects, implemented under the Manusath Derana programme to raise educational standards in under-resourced schools.
The entrepreneur and attorney at law, Mr. Dilith Jayaweera, along with Mr. Paul Smith, Managing Director of KS Environmental Group, Mr. Tony Hawk, Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Susantha Aparakka, Chief Financial Officer, and several other dignitaries, participated in this event.
By providing smart classrooms for under-resourced schools, Manusath Derana hopes to constantly improve subject and global knowledge alongside resource-rich schools and provide access to the services of highly skilled teachers through this technology.

ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ ගුරුවරුන් සහ සම්පත් අවම පාසල් සඳහා සුහුරු පන්ති කාමර ලබාදීම මගින් සම්පත් සහිත පාසල් හා සමගාමීව විෂය දැනුම සහ ගෝලීය දැනුම නිරන්තරයෙන් වැඩිදියුණු කරගැනීමටත්, මෙම තාක්‍ෂණය හරහා ඉහළ කුසලතා ඇති ගුරුවරුන්ගේ සේවය ලබාගැනීමට ප්‍රවේශයයක් ලබාදීමත් මනුසත් දෙරණ අපේක්ෂාවයි.
